Good news for the windows mobile phone users – now Twitter is available on the mobile run by Windows 10 operating system. Last year in June, Twitter launched for Windows 10 on PCs and tablets; with this update, the micro-blogging site will be available on all three types of devices – PC, tablets, and mobile.
The new app looks pretty eye-catching on windows mobile, and 90 percent of the design are similar to its desktop and tablet version. Twitter app for Windows 10 on mobile is designed following the Universal Windows Platform (UWP), as a result, it easily adapts to different devices and screen sizes.
The new app also allows users to experience Moments, a feature that helps you find the best of Twitter from millions of tweets by simply tapping an icon, even if you are not following those accounts.
With your windows phone, you can explore content all across Twitter – a single tap will give you a fuller view of the Tweet, which you can favorite, Retweet, and more.
The company, in a blog post says, “With Twitter for Windows 10 on mobile, you can experience Moments and group Direct Messages; shoot, edit, and Tweet video using your camera; share a Tweet and add your own commentary with quote Tweet; it’s easier to follow conversations, and you can check out top Tweets without logging in.”
One of the most popular things on Twitter for Windows on Desktop and mobile was a dark theme – you will also experience this on your mobile too. To set this as your default theme, go to Settings and click Personalization; here, you can set the dark theme as your default theme.
The feature is rolled out for the worldwide Windows 10 on mobile users, and you can download the new version app for free from the Windows Store.
