OnePlus smartphones received the latest update 10.3.3 in May only, and so far the transition has been smooth for most users. However, as is the case with any update there have been a few issues with the new update, and there is a scope for improvement.
A user has complained about one of the OnePlus online forums about the issue of his smartphone, the OnePlus 7 Pro has been facing after updating its OS.
After the user downloaded and installed the new update, apparently his device’s speakers stopped working or became unresponsive all of a sudden. The dysfunctionality includes all sounds to media sounds, ranging from a ringtone to music apps, eg. YouTube, gaana.com, etc. However, when connected to a Bluetooth speakerphone, it works fine.
This observation led him to conclude that the problem mainly lies with the handset itself. This has been a constant problem for the user. One thing that provides a temporary solution is rebooting it; however, even that is not a permanent solution as the problem persists.
The developers at OnePlus are yet to address this problem. It should also be mentioned that so far on the forum only a single user has complained about audio issues after the OS update, or so it appears.
OnePlus 7 Pro was launched in May 2019 and features a 6.67-inches AMOLED capacitive touchscreen. At the time of its launch, it ran on Android 9.0 Pie. Under the hood, it came with Qualcomm SM8150 Snapdragon 855 (7 nm) chipset with an Octa-core Adreno 640 GPU. The smartphone came equipped with a triple camera set up on its back.
