OnePlus recently released a stable OxygenOS 10.3.0 update for the OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T and soon after users find issues with the new update on Instagram. The update fixes a number of bugs and introduces improvements to camera and fingerprint scanner performance.
OnePlus OxygenOS 10.0.1 began rolling out to the OnePlus 7 Pro over the December last week as reported to us by a tipster and confirmed by users on multiple forums.
With the latest firmware, these locked phones will be directly bumped to the November patch, as pointed out in the sparse details of the screenshot below. A detailed changelog for this update isn’t available, though chances of it varying quite a bit from the unlocked models are slim.
However, soon after the new update has been released users have taken sites to complain regarding the new OnePlus 10.3.0 update for OxygenOS showing Instagram issues. It seems that the new update is not working properly. According to users, the new update is taking longer than longer than 15 seconds for posting a video on Instagram whereas the second portion “of the video never uploads (for the past 4 months).”
Several users took the OnePlus forum to complain about their issues. We went to the forum to further look into the matter. Here is a user who mentioned that his “phone freezes and doesn’t show the picture when trying to add it via gallery inside the Instagram feed.”
There is more to it as pictures in stories cannot be saved as a persistent problem since OP 3. Though complaints keep ushering from users there is no confirmation from the OnePlus Company. Let’s wait and see when the company acknowledges and looks into the matter.
