The new patch 4.10 update is on its way to Valorant, bringing with it a bevy of changes to the agents, maps, system modifications, and bug fixes.
Valorant is continually being updated, and indeed the newest patch appears to be adding even more modifications to the game. Valorant’s planned adjustments are going to be substantial, owing to their small size. The developers have addressed a variety of issues that have arisen during the game related to agents, maps, and so on. Let’s take a look over the major changes in the Valorant patch 4.10 update.
Valorant 4.10 update patch notes
The 4.10 update will go live on 24 May, and Valorant creator Riot Games had recently published a blog post revealing the significant adjustments in this patch. The changes are as follows:
Changes to agents in the Valorant 4.10 update
The Omen’s 3P model has been enhanced to add more detail and authenticity. For the following agents, the 4.10 update introduces uniform positioning and location for the progress and charge bars:
- Reyna
- Cypher
- Breach
- Jett
- Omen
- Phoenix
- Skye
- Fade
- Yoru
- Raze
Map updates
Several pixel collisions were eliminated in the following areas:
- Players can’t walk up the outside of a site cover anymore
- Without a boost ability, you can no longer climb onto the top of the C site cover.
Gameplay system and improvement update
The Valorant 4.10 update introduces a new Performance graph that shows Shooting Error statistics for the latest Client shots. It’s the same data that can be found in the crosshair issue controls, but it should aid players in diagnosing their own efficiency after a fight.
There’ll be increased Server-side input latency with this update, which may cause inputs to take longer to apply than intended depending on the ping. Significant lag on the visual view of other players is included, perhaps reducing overall reaction time. The “Network RTT Jitter” performance graph has been included to assist players to realize whether they’re having network troubles that aren’t represented in the Network RTT Avg/Max numbers.
Major bug fixes in the Valorant 4.10 update
- Allies may now hear voice lines for deployable skills from anywhere on the map. This comprises:
Trademark and Rendezvous, Chamber
Turret and Alarmbot, Killjoy
Spycam and Trapwire, Cypher
Gatecrash, Yoru - After using Fast Lane or Relay Bolt, Neon’s High Gear would immediately stop working.
- When Viper’s foes were near but outside of Viper’s Pit, spectators would see them glow red.
In addition to agent-related issues, the Valorant 4.10 upgrade discovered the following issues with the gaming system:
- Brimstone’s Incendiary (Q) now does damage in 15-second chunks rather than 1-second chunks such as the other zone damage skills in the game.
- Resolved an issue where agent-specific keybinds would occasionally fail to operate even if they were marked as applied in the settings menu.
Even while observing the Agent who is planting or defusing, Observers having Minimal HUD enabled do not see the spike plant or defuse bar is now fixed. The official Riot Games website has the entire patch notes for the Valorant 4.10 release.
