Recently at CES, we were introduced to HTC Vive Pro and HTC Vive Wireless Adapter. Many of the users were waiting for the Wireless Adapter to be used with the higher resolution Vive Pro. This event was thus evidenced at MWC 2018, where both of these devices were demonstrated together.
This user shared the happening experience as he was introduced to a unique VR adventure where the user was put in a hot air balloon basket and was sent soaring through a canyon. Further revealing more about Vive Pro, found that it needs only two cables to be plugged into the Vive Wireless Adapter, which is a short HDMI cable from the headset and a USB cable for power.
When this adapter was used in the original Vive, it required four cables three running from the headset and USB from the power pack. Still, where many things are in a closed box we hope the company to come out with more valuable information soon.
