Vivo is aiming to launch new tablets in the upcoming few months. A few sketches of the tablet concept surfaced on Weibo a few days back. In fact, a few days back, a Vivo tablet battery was spotted on the TUV Rheinland certification website. In a recent development, the Vivo Pad moniker has appeared at the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUPIO) trademark.
The trademark website mentions that the Vivo Pad name got registered on June 18, 2021. Although the trademark page does not reveal any details about the upcoming Vivo Pad, the website where the sketches of the Pad surfaced a few weeks ago reveals information about the Pad.
The sketches show that the upcoming Vivo Tablet will come with a full-screen display. The tablet is likely to feature a dual-camera setup on its back. The right side of the tablet will come with power and volume keys. The certification website also reveals that the tablet will be powered by a typical battery capacity of 8040mAh.
The appearance on the certification website does not guarantee an immediate launch. However, as far as Vivo’s tablet is concerned, the Vivo Pad might get launched at Vivo’s X60 Pro+ launch event. It should also be taken into account that the company did not make any announcement concerning the tablet while announcing its upcoming launch event. Nevertheless, the tech giant will launch its very first tablet in the first half of 2021.
Vivo’s tablet should compete directly with Xiaomi’s Mi Pad series and Huawei’s Matepad tablet lineup when Vivo decides to launch the tablet. More often than not, upcoming devices get listed on the TENAA certification website which reveals key information about the products. More specific details about the tablet, along with its price and launch details could surface if the tablet ever makes its way to the TENAA certification website.
