Duly at the beginning of this year, Vivo’s Apex, a concept mobile phone, was launched with 100% full-screen feature. It astonished the world as the manufacturer did something that Apple was expected to do. With the design of a half-screen fingerprint and lifting camera, it quickly became the focus of people’s eyes.
Vivo’s next launch is named Vivo NEX, and it uses a design similar to that of the Vivo APEX concept machine. Reports say that the company is mass-producing this cell phone that occupies an ultra-high screen. It has a very high ratio on the front screen and retains the design of a lifting camera that makes it look different.
As leaked on the Chinese website Weibo, the smartphone is shown with no notch or other kinds of intrusion into the viewfinder, there’s a noticeable amount of chin at the bottom, but it’s not as prominent as the chin on Huawei’s P20.
The handset is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 chipset accompanied by up to 8GB of RAM that runs on Android 8.0 Oreo with an OLED display panel. As rumored, Vivo NEX is supposed to be priced around Euro 559, roughly around Rs 47,000. Changes might take place until we get the official confirmation at the launch event on 12th June.
