Back in April this year, Vivo entered the Indian market with the new Vivo T- Series – the Vivo T2 5G and Vivo T2x 5G. The duo smartphones came to revolutionize the mid-range market as they are backed by 5G and powered by a Snapdragon 695 and MediaTek Dimensity 6020 SoC, respectively.
Considering their popularity in the Indian market, the company is now adding a third member to the series, the Vivo T2 Pro 5G.
Tipster Abhishek Yadav shared the official launch poster of the smartphone, along with some expected specifications. In the poster, Vivo confirms that the new Vivo T2 Pro 5G will be officially launched in India on September 22nd with Get Set Turbo as the launch tagline. Now, let’s look at what the new series tends to offer compared to the existing ones.
Vivo T2 Pro 5G Full Specs
The smartphone is expected to come with a 6.78″ FHD+ curved AMOLED display, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 1300 nits peak brightness. The Vivo T2 Pro 5G is likely to weigh 175 grams and have a 736 mm thickness.
Under the hood, the upcoming Vivo T2 Pro 5G is said to be powered by an octave-core MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chipset and comes in two variants: 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB.
For optical separation, a 64 MP OIS+2 MP rear camera backs the device, while a 16 MP front camera is featured for video calls and selfies. A 4,600 mAh battery with 66W fast charging support is also expected in the device.
Additionally, the smartphone is expected to run the Android 13 operating system topped with the company’s layer of FunTouch OS 13. Other features are WiFi 6, 5.3 Bluetooth version, In-display fingerprint scanner, single speaker, IP52, and glass back.
Availability and Pricing
As confirmed by the brand in a launch poster, the new Vivo T2 Pro 5G is set to launch in India on September 22, starting at 12 PM IST. According to the mobile brand, the smartphone will be sold via Flipkart, Vivo E-Store, and offline stores across the country.
The new Vivo T2 Pro 5G will join the exciting Vivo T2 5G and Vivo T2x 5G in the Indian market, which go on sale for ₹18,999 and ₹12,999, respectively. Therefore, we expect a high price for the new smartphone. As predicted by the tipster, the new Vivo T2 Pro 5G is likely to go on sale for ₹24,999.
