Vivo Y72 5G has been launched in Thailand, and the smartphone is now open for pre-booking from March 23rd up to March 30.
The dual-SIM (Nano) Vivo Y72 5G features a 6.58-inches of full-HD+ LCD IPS display that offers a 1080 x 2408 pixels resolution. The screen offers an aspect ratio of 20:9 and a 90.6 percent screen-to-body ratio. Under the hood, the smartphone runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC that is paired with 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB UFS 2.1 storage. Furthermore, the smartphone runs on Funtouch OS 11.1, based on Android 11.
Keeping the recent trends in mind, the Vivo Y72 5G features a triple rear camera setup. This camera setup consists of a 64MP sensor with an f/1.79 lens, an 8MP secondary camera with an f/2.2 ultrawide lens that has a 120-degree field-of-view, and a 2MP macro shooter with an f/2.4 lens. All of these cameras are accompanied by an LED flash. The front of the smartphone features a selfie camera of 16MP with an f/2.0 lens for selfies and video calls.
The new Y series smartphone from the Chinese tech giant, Vivo comes with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging. Connectivity options on the phone include 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The phone has an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, electronic compass, gyroscope, and proximity sensor. The fingerprint sensor is on its side. The smartphone measures 163.95×75.30×8.50mm in dimensions and weighs 193 grams.
The Vivo Y72 smartphone is available in two color options: Graphite Black and Dream Glow. The smartphone is available only in a single memory variant of 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Vivo Y72 5G is priced at THB 9,000, approximately INR, 23,300. It is not clear yet if this smartphone will be available in India.
