iQOO is gearing up for the launch of the new smartphone that will succeed the iQOO 3. The latest one is called iQOO Neo 5.
For the last couple of weeks, the smartphone has made its appearance here and there, and it also appeared on the Google Play Console listing; and now the device has received the 3C certification in China.
The listing reveals that the iQOO Neo 5 will come with 66W fast charging support. The device bears the model number V2055A.
The device is supposed to feature an AMOLED Full HD+ display that will offer 2400 x 1080 pixels. Moreover, the display screen’s refresh rate is clocked at 120Hz with a screen density of 480ppi.
Under the hood, the Neo 5 may run on the new Snapdragon 870 SoC aided with Adreno 650 GPU. Furthermore, it comes with 8GB/12GB of RAM and 128GB/ 256GB of internal storage.
The Neo 5 is expected to run Android 11 out-of-the-box with a custom UI on the software front.
The iQOO Neo 5 will come with a triple camera on its back. The primary camera is 48MP, which may adopt in the Sony IMX598 sensor. The other two cameras consist of a 13MP secondary shooter and a 2MP lens. As for the selfie camera, it is 16MP.
The mobile might come with a 4400mAh battery that will support 66W fast charging. Other than the features listed, a few other sources have also claimed to know the smartphone’s price.
The Neo 5 with 8GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage might be priced somewhere around CNY 2998. On the other hand, the 8GB RAM+ 256 GB of internal storage variant is supposed to be priced around CNY 3298.
