Last year in November, the smartphone giant Vivo had launched its very own OriginOS. After working on it for over a year, perfecting the system and making adjustments, the OriginOS that has officially opened on January 6 appears to be more flexible, simpler, and more individualized, overall giving the visual effects a touch of newness.
Vivo announced the first batch of the public betas before January 31; however, that actually opened today. A range of users has confirmed that they have successfully applied for the public beta qualification.
Vivo and iQOO models, including Vivo X50, Vivo S7, Vivo NEX 3S, iQOO, and iQOO Neo 3 have qualified for the first batch of public testing. Users can enter into the testing by clicking on the System Update “gear” button which can be found at the top right corner.
OriginOS brings in a new desktop grid system along with Huarong grid design which is designed to show off every element of the desktop. Features such as the unique time window and behavioral wallpaper are also well received. Many are of the opinion that the new system also brings a great deal of fluency with it, meaning the jitter of touch has been reduced marginally, and the touch response speed of key scenes including that of the edge touch and games, have been optimized to ensure a smooth experience.
Vivo has taken great care to pay attention to its users’ needs while upgrading and updating. OriginOS comes with the ability to switch back to the previous traditional desktop with just a single click through the parallel world function. The users have the option to choose from either of the operating systems.
Overall, the OriginOS as the next-gen mobile operating system has improved greatly, not only in terms of its visual design but also with how it operates.
