iQOO has finally launched the iQOO Z1 smartphone with 5G support after the release rumor stirred up quite a buzz.
The latest flagship smartphone from iQOO comes with a 6.57-inch FHD+ display with a 144Hz refresh rate. The company spokesperson said that the customers will also have the option of an auto mode which will automatically set the refresh rate for a smoother experience. Furthermore, two more refresh options, one of 60Hz and the other one of 90Hz will be available in the settings.
Under the hood, the smartphone is equipped with MediaTek’s latest Dimensity 1000+ SoC. The smartphone has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and comes with a 3.4mm headphone jack. It packs a triple camera setup on its back. The camera setup consists of a 48MP main camera, an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera, and a 2-megapixel sensor. On the front, there is a 10 MP selfie camera. The device even supports up to 4K HD video shooting and slow-motion up to 1080P HD shooting.
The latest Vivo iQOO Z1 5G phone also has a built-in 4,500mAh battery, which supports 44W ultra-fast flash charging tech. The company also claims that the charger can reach up to 50% in 23 minutes.
The smartphone is available in China in two different color options – Space blue and Galaxy Silver, and the pricing starts at RMB 2,198, which is around Rs 23,410 in India.
The company is offering the smartphone in three memory variants, one variant comes with 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage, another one comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, and finally, 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage configuration. They are priced differently also. The 6GB+ 128GB, 8GB+128 GB and the 8GB+256GB variants are priced at RMB 2,198, RMB 2,498, and RMB 2,798 respectively. The company has not said anything about its global release.
