Netflix, Disney+, & Prime Video to declare password sharing illegal in UK soon
Over the years, Netflix and other video streaming platformsonline have had their users indulge in the process of password sharing.
However, it seems like this practice might soon be declaredillegal in the UK, as a new report confirmed.
The news arrives from updated piracy guidelines that were shared by the British Intellectual Property Office
The report said the act of sharing passwords for Netflix, Disney+, and Amazon Prime Video might soon be considered illegal in the UK
"Password sharing on streaming services, which includes a number of the popular platformlike Disney+, can legally be considered as an act that breaksthe copyright law," it stated
