Oppo on 28th June has filed a new brand at the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO). Though it is not official whether Oppo is planning for a new series or not, rumors suggest a possible return of Oppo towards the second half of the year.
Oppo in 2019 completely changed the approach to naming their smartphones. Instead of low-code coding, the manufacturer introduced transparent names in the Reno series and is now preparing another line, probably including medium-priced devices.
Brian Shen, Vice President of Oppo, with a post on Weibo last month, leaked a return to the market by the company. It could probably be one unpublished series of devices, which could present the name “Enco.” Oppo could focus, perhaps, on all market segments, expanding its offer. At present, however, they are only suppositions.
In 2019, the successor will not wait for Oppo Find X. The producer intends to present the successor only in 2020, to show him the revolutionary device with him once again. It seems that Oppo Enco can be created to compete with the Redmi series from Xiaomi – maybe we will find here the answer to both Redmi Note 7 and Redmi K20.
We are still in the dark with the new rumors; hence, we await further details from the Chinese phone maker themselves.
