Xiaomi recently launched the Xiaomi 12 series which took the industry by storm. Now, the latest reports suggest that we can soon see the Xiaomi 13 smartphone as it recently appeared on the IMEI Database. There is only a limited amount of information available regarding the smartphone as of now.
Still, a report by Xiaomiui.net, the smartphone is going to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor which is still under development. Furthermore, the audience is also confused due as the company has still not rolled out the Xiaomi 12 Ultra. Speculations are that the Ultra variant of the series could get a Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 processor.
The Xiaomi 13 base variant carries model number 22/11 and the Pro variant carries a 22/10 model number. As of now, the information regarding the device is limited.
However, we can expect more information to come our way as soon as the launch of the device approaches. One thing which we are sure of is that the smartphone is not going to launch anytime soon. High chances are that the device will see the light by the end of the year.
Xiaomi 12 specifications
The Xiaomi 12, the predecessor of the upcoming Xiaomi 13, comes with 8GB LPDDR5 RAM along with 128GB UFS 3.1 internal storage. The device comes equipped with a 6.28-inch FHD+ AMOLED DoT display complemented with a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor.
When it comes to the camera, the device sports a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP wide-angle sensor, 13MP ultra wide-angle sensor, and a 5MP telemacro sensor. We can say that the Xiaomi 13 will ship with better features compared to its predecessor.
Saying anything at this point in time regarding the Xiaomi 13 will be a bit too early. Seems like the readers have to wait patiently to know more about the net Xiaomi flagship series.
