Chinese company Xiaomi is ready to launch its new flagship, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra, in the coming months. New information on the device has recently surfaced, courtesy of informant Sudhanshu Ambhore. He shared details with 91Mobiles, revealing a treasure hoard of information on the Xiaomi 15 Ultra.

Before this, the only info on the device was an image, showing off a large round camera with 4 sensors, and a gorgeous black, sort of textured, finish.
Xiaomi 15 Ultra: Details and Features
When it comes to performance, the device will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite, allowing for enhanced performance, both while gaming and multitasking. Equipped with a 6000mAh battery, the brand has provided 90W wired charging support, while wireless charging will be at 50W. This will provide much less downtime between charges, which will further increase user convenience.
At launch, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra will be available in, at least, a 16GB+512GB configuration of internal storage, similar to its predecessor, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra. Rumor also states that it will feature a 2K display, along with an ultrasonic fingerprint system.
A significant feature of the device will be the inclusion of satellite communication tech, most notably supporting the TianTong satellite system as standard. The BeiDou connectivity system will also make an appearance, providing top-quality dual-satellite connectivity. This smartphone also marks itself as the first Xiaomi Ultra series device to have eSIM functionality.
Xiaomi 15 Ultra available in three major colors: black, white, and silver. It is also expected to carry a variety of finishes, including vegan leather, fiberglass, and ceramic. Compare this to the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, which came with a black or white color option and a vegan leather finish.
Camera Specifications on the Xiaomi 15 Ultra
Previously revealed images of the device had provided us with the Ultra’s rear look. Adorned with a large circular camera island, Leica branding was spotted amidst the sensors. Knowing this, the primary camera is set to feature a 1-inch Sony Lytia LYT-900 sensor, a major highlight, improving image quality, especially in low-light environments.
A 200MP periscopic telephoto lens is included, offering amazing zoom capabilities, along with a 50MP telephoto lens and a 50MP ultrawide. The inclusion of such cameras ensure that every shot will be clear and detailed in any given scenario. If you add AI enhancements to the mix, the smartphone will be further able to improve image processing.
Other miscellaneous features include an advanced cooling system and stereo speakers with high-resolution audio. The phone is also expected to carry an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.
