The Xiaomi flip is a new flip phone from the Chinese smartphone maker that comes with a simple flip mechanism. Xiaomi had filed a new patent with WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organisation).
According to the patent, the Xiaomi flip has a Mi Mix Flip-like design with an inward folding mechanism. Moreover, the new patent reveals that the form factor of the Xiaomi flip is almost similar to that of the Samsung Galaxy Z flip. The upcoming flip phone features dual-rear cameras which are placed horizontally. When the phone is unfolded, the phone’s main display comes with thin bezels. Moreover, the primary display also comes with a dual front camera at the top left side of the screen. The right side of the phone has a power button and a volume button.
Since the flip phone is still in its patent stage it would not be launched right away, but if anything the patents only get the fans excited for the actual flip phone.
