Today, October 9, the Chinese electronics designer and manufacturer company Xiaomi has officially announced that it will launch the new 2022 Redmi Smart TV X on October 20. The announcement was made earlier this morning by Xiaomi TV.

The new 2022 Redmi Smart TV X features a refreshing strength with an uncompromising spirit and uses absolute strength to surpass itself.

Recall that in May 2020, the company officially unveiled the Redmi Smart TV X series, and the Redmi Smart TV Series was launched in two screen sizes- 32-inch and 43-inch in India on September 22, 2021.

The new product is positioned as a light flagship smart TV with a metal frame and a minimalist full-screen design. The screen-to-body ratio, at 55 inches, is as high as 97 percent. The product is expected to cost 2299 yuan, while 3299 yuan for the 65-inch version.

The 2022 Redmi Smart TV X has a 2GB+32GB storage capacity and supports Dolby sound. Its system includes MEMC motion compensation technology + 60Hz intelligent algorithm correction, an 8-unit subwoofer sound system, a far-field voice within 10 meters, four video platforms, and 2000+ device connections as standard features.

However, according to the senior vice president, and chairman of the procurement committee of Xiaomi Group, Zhang Feng stated that Redmi TV’s biggest competitor may be ourselves. And equally asked what innovations do consumers wish to see in the new product, following the popularity of MEMC and metal full screens.

The Chinese tech giant has recently made itself relevant in the technology industries. In 2020,146.3 million smartphones were sold and, as of August 2021, its MIUI operating system has achieved over 450 million monthly active users.

Xiaomi Corporation is the second-largest manufacturer of smartphones, related software, home appliances, and household items, behind Samsung, with the major manufacturer of appliances including televisions, flashlights, unmanned aerial vehicles, and air purifiers. The company has its headquarters in Beijing, China.
