In a press conference today, along with new phones, Xiaomi has introduced the new Redmi X series TVs with the coolest features so far.
Smart TV is super awesome in looks as it has a full metal body. The screen-to-body ratio is 97%. The series has three versions: 50-inch, 55-inch, and 60-inch models. All of these TVs are equipped with a 4K screen with a resolution of 3840×2160 and an NTSE 85% wide color gamut. The various sizes suit various purposes based on the measurements of the room in which it will be installed.
Talking about the sound effects of these TVs, one must know that it has an 8 unit subwoofer audio system. These are four 12.5W large speakers, two all-over speakers, two speakers for high frequency, and four passive speakers for low frequency. In addition to all of this, the sound system utilizes Dolby audio enhancement technology.
Such smart TV calls for the news of its processor. Well, the new X series TVs from Xiaomi has 4 core processor along with 2+32 GB configuration. The TV interestingly supports far-field voice technology which means that the user can operate the TV with his/her voice within 10 meters. It also has a Novatek TV chip. The CPU is a quad-core A73 2 + A53*2 high-performance architecture. It also has a Mali G51 MP3 GPU. This TV also supports a real-time scene recognition optimization system.
The most important feature of this series is the MEMC motion compensation technology in addition to 60Hz intelligent algorithm compensation. According to Lu Weibing, this MEMC technology is the watershed of high-end TVs. Dynamic picture clarity and fluency will be greatly improved with this technology. This technology provides a smoother view than TVs without MEMC technology.
This X series Redmi TV supports 2000+ device linkage and inbuilt Xiaomi classmates. These TVs have reached the cooperation of content strategy with platforms like iQiyi, Youku, Tencent Video, Sohu Video, and PPTV. Along with these, the X series Redmi TVs will enable the users to watch content from Platforms like Mango, Huashu, BesTV, Future TV, Ju Wonder, Ju Sports, Bilibili, Pumpkin Movies, 4K Gardens, etc. All of these will sum up to 330,000 hours of content.
Although the price of X50 has not been confirmed, Xiaomi has announced the price of X55 and X60. The 55-inch TV will cost 2299 yuan and the 65-inch yuan will cost 3299 yuan with the first sale providing a discount of 300 yuan.
