Xiaomi has launched the Mi 10 5G in India months after it had been launched in China. The Chinese market also has its hand on the 12GB RAM +256GB storage model of the Mi 10 5G that has not been launched in India yet.
The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC. The dual-SIM Mi 10 5G features Android 10 with MIUI. It sports a 6.67-inch full-HD+ 3D curved E3 AMOLED display and has 1080 x 2340 pixels with a refresh rate of 90Hz, 180Hz touch-sampling rate, and the screen offers an aspect ratio of 19.5:9.
As mentioned before, the Mi 10 5G runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC coupled with 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM. It sports a quad-camera set up on its back with a 108-megapixel primary sensor with a seven-piece lens and optical image stabilisation (OIS), a 13-megapixel wide-angle lens that has a 123-degree field of view and an f/2.4 aperture, and a pair of 2-megapixel cameras with f/2.4 lenses. The smartphone features a 20MP shooter on its front. The cameras are equipped with AI 2.0 that has the ability to correct exposure, colour, brightness, and noise to enhance images. Furthermore, the Pro Mode on the camera app with features such as Focus Peaking, Exposure Verification, HEIF Support, and LOG Mode.
The Mi 10 5G comes with 128GB and 256GB of UFS 3.0 storage that isn’t expandable via microSD card. The smartphone runs on a 4,780mAh battery and supports 30W fast wired and wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging.
The Mi 10 5G is priced at INR. 49,999 for the 128GB storage variant and the 256GB storage option is priced at INR. 54,999. The smartphone is available in two colours, Coral Green and Twilight Grey. Xiaomi will receive pre-orders from Amazon and Mi.com starting May 8.
