Recently it was revealed that the Chinese smartphone manufacturer will renew the flagship Mi 10 with the enhanced feature. Now it has come to the forefront with the latest news.

The revamping would only include the upgrade to the Snapdragon 870 processor. Other features of the smartphone would remain the same.

Yesterday, a Xiaomi 5G digital mobile phone passed the 3C certification, and this smartphone is likely to be the Xiaomi Mi 10. Moreover, the renewed smartphone will also feature a 33W charger ensuring a faster charging experience than the standard version of the Mi 10.

The standard version of the Mi 10 is equipped with a 30W wired/wireless fast charge and a 10W wireless reverse charge.

The new Mi 10 will run on the Snapdragon 870 processor which Qualcomm announced only recently. Motorola’s Edge S is the first smartphone to run on the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor.

Xiaomi who happens to be Qualcomm’s partner would obviously end up using the latest processor on its newer models. The Snapdragon 870 is built using a 7nm technology and consists of one A77 (3.19GHz) CPU, three A77 (2.42GHz) CPU and four A55 (1.8GHz) CPU.

Moreover, the processor is the same as the Snapdragon 865+. However, despite its similarities, the Snapdragon 870 is designed to perform much better than its predecessor, only second to the current flagship Snapdragon 888.

The revamped version of the old Mi 10 is not the only product that Xiaomi will be offering this year. Xiaomi has planned the launch of the Mi 11 Grande/venti, the Redmi K40 series, and the Redmi gaming phone.

As for the Mi 10 smartphone, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has decided to reduce the smartphone price permanently from January 23, 2021. The 8GB+ 128GB variant is priced at 3,399 yuan, the 8 GB + 256 GB variant is priced at 3599 yuan, and the 12 GB + 256 GB is priced at 3,999 yuan.
