Recently Xiaomi announced the 5G version of its flagship mobile, the Mi MIX 3 at the China Mobile Global Partners Conference. This new version of Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 5G could come with recently launched Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset.
During the presentation, Xiaomi demonstrated web browsing and video calls of the Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 5G variant to simulate the experience that users of this technology will have. The smartphone is equipped with an X50 LTE modem that provides 5G capabilities to the device. Combined with Xiaomi’s smart antenna switching technology, the Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 5G version can achieve up to 2 Gbps of download speed.
Now recently a new leak on Galex Droid Facebook page has showcased the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 5G variant from the front, with the indication of 5G logo and tower network capability under the notification panel.
As for the rest of the features and specifications of the the device, they all will exactly be the same. Xiaomi said the MIX 3 5G will be part of the China Mobile tests and will eventually be launched in Europe sometime in the first quarter of 2019.
