After many previous hints and teasers, Xiaomi has launched its Mi Notebook Air 12.5 new version of itself. It is powered by an 8th-generation Intel processor and delivers significantly improved performance than the previous generation.
The current model features a 12.5-inch FullHD display, Intel Core m3-7Y30 or Core i5-7Y54 processors, 4GB of RAM, and 128GB or 256GB of storage. It all comes in a sleek metal body, not unlike a specific Apple-branded laptop that goes by a similar name as the device does not feature the logo of the company.
In a bid to offer the notebook a minimalist design, the entire body of the laptop has a smooth feel, and it comes in two color choices such as gold and silver.
The Mi Notebook Air 12.5 (2019) offers a long battery life. However, the exact capacity of its battery is not known yet. The laptop can gain 50 percent battery power by charging it for 35 minutes. Lastly, Intel’s 8th generation M3 and i5 processor powers the different variants of the Mi Notebook Air 12.5.
The Mi Notebook Air 12.5 (2019) model with an M3 processor, 128 GB storage and 4 GB of RAM is tagged at 3,599 Yuan (Rs. 36,917). The other M3 processor variant with 256 GB storage and 4 GB of RAM costs 3,999 Yuan (Rs. 41,021). The Mi Notebook Air 12.5 (2019) reservations have started in China. Its sales will kick off on March 28.
