At Xiaomi’s Smarter Living event in India today, Xiaomi has launched three new Mi TVs, the Mi TV 4X 65-inch, Mi TV 4X 50-inch, and the Mi TV 4X 43-inch. The Xiaomi Mi TV 4X Series 65-inch, 50-inch, and 43-inch will go on sale in India on September 29. These TVs will be available on Amazon, Flipkart, on Xiaomi’s official website, Mi.com and in Mi Home Stores.
All of the Xiaomi Mi TV 4X series come with 4K HDR 10 support. The Mi TV 4X 43-inch and the Mi TV 4X 50-inch come with 4K HDR 10-bit panel whereas the Mi TV 4X 65-inch comes with the 4K HDR 10-bit panel with VP.
All the Mi TV 4X series features slim bezels to make way for a better display. They also come with Vivid Picture Engine, Xiaomi’s image processing technology. The use of the Vivid Picture Engine technology results in a vivid display with brighter colors, and acute details.
The 65-inch Mi TV 4X is slightly different in terms of specifications, in that it comes with Wide Color Gamut or the WCG and the MEMC support. Like the previous generation of the Mi TVs, The Mi TV 4X 65-inch, Mi TV 4X 50-inch and Mi TV 4X 43-inch will come equipped with PatchWall 2.0. The TVs will also deliver a well-rounded audio experience owing to its 20W speakers Dolby+ DTS-HD.
The price of the Mi TV 4X 50-inch is set for Rs 29,999, and the Mi TV 4X 43-inch is priced at Rs 24,999. The most expensive of the three smart TVs is the Mi TV 4X 65-inch which is priced at Rs. 54,999.
It should be separately mentioned that the Xiaomi Mi TV 4X series comes with support for Netflix and Amazon Prime, and this is the first time that these supports are made available to TVs. Furthermore, the new Mi TVs also come with Data saver feature which is an Android TV exclusive. The Data Saver feature lets its users stream up to 3 times more. Xiaomi has also explained that with this, the users can cast wireless to the Mi TV 4x without being connected to the internet.
