Xiaomi is rumored to be working on a new smartphone that is codenamed as Hercules and if the rumor is to be true, then the Mi Mix 4 is soon going to be a reality. The Xiaomi ‘Hercules’ is speculated to be coming with a triple camera set up at the back, a Snapdragon 855 SoC, wireless charging, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and NFC.
According to the leaked information released by Mishaal Rahman, the Editor-in-Chief with XDA Developers, the Xiaomi Hercules will arrive with triple rear-mounted cameras and a front-facing camera. The smartphone will carry support for wireless charging.
It has been found that the Xiaomi Hercules phone is powered by the Snapdragon 855 mobile platform. While the exact identity of the phone is under the wraps, it is being speculated that it could be the forthcoming Xiaomi Mi MIX 4.
The Xiaomi Hercules smartphone will be equipped with NFC among the connectivity features. It will be also arriving with an in-display fingerprint reader. Well, these specs are also available on the Xiaomi Mi 9 flagship phone that was announced in February.
The company had released an early teaser for the successor of Mi Mix 3 back in March. The teaser was an image of all the Mi Mix smartphones including the Mi Mix, Mi Mix 2 and Mi Mix 3. Notably, the Mi Mix 2S was missing.
