Today, February 27, the patent of Apple’s wireless charging case for the Apple Watch has been approved. The charging and carrying case basically works like the AirPods case of the brand, offering a storage place for the Watch to keep when not used. At the same time, its battery will be getting recharged.
The design of the case is absolutely different from the same one that comes with the original Apple Watch Edition. It is as well more useful than you think, given that you’ve gone through the details. The patent describes that it provides space for additional bands for recharging.
Therefore, it’s a charging and carrying case not just for the Watch but for other bands as well that have electronic components like circuitry, sensors, and batteries. It also helps when you are traveling and need charging, but can’t at the moment find a plugin.
Stay tuned for the next update of Apple’s products and patents as it surfaces.
