The South Korean tech giant, Samsung’s biggest strategy regarding smartphones, this year has been the development of foldable screens. The new smartphones with a foldable display and state-of-the-art features are certainly the main formula for being an instant hit with the consumers.
Despite this strategy, a few of the South Korean media outlets report that Samsung is likely to equip its flagship line of Galaxy Smartphones with a stylus for the first time, starting next year. The decision indeed is a first of its kind from the company.
Anyone familiar with Samsung’s products might have noticed that the S Pens are used only in the Galaxy Note line. During the summertime, there were a few rumours that Samsung was looking for ways to change and revolutionize its smartphone division.
That strategy came out to be the inclusion of foldable displays in the Galaxy Z line. It also meant that the features and performance of the Galaxy S and Galaxy Note lines will gradually weaken. But the company decided to include the stylus pen in the Samsung Galaxy 21 which will certainly be a lucrative feature to lure in many consumers towards Samsung models.
The Galaxy S21 series will include the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and the Galaxy S21 Ultra models. Among the three models from the Galaxy 21 series, Samsung has confirmed that the older model, the Galaxy S21 Ultra will come equipped with the S Pen stylus.
As for the other models from the Galaxy 21 series, it is highly unlikely that the Galaxy S21 and the Galaxy S21+ will be equipped with the stylus.
Moreover, the chipmaker Qualcomm is expected to come out with the next-generation Snapdragon 875 flagship mobile platform later this year. Samsung, OPPO, Xiaomi are among the first companies to launch smartphones based on the latest Snapdragon 875.
