Huami, one of the ecosystem branches of Xiaomi, launched the new wearable Amazfit Verge Lite in India. The new smartwatch is now available for purchase through Flipkart, and it is priced at Rs. 6,999. Just like its mother company, Xiaomi, Huamei manufactures affordable wearables without compromising the essential features.
Coming to its features, the Amazfit Verge Lite has a 1.3 inch circular AMOLED display. This display holds a small selection of watch faces which could be changed using the app. Rubber is used to make the casing of the watch, and the straps could be replaced with other third-party strap accessories.
An Accelerometer and an optical heart rate sensor has been incorporated into the smartwatch for fitness tracking. The heart-rate warning support will vibrate every time it detects irregularity in the heart rate. What’s more, the watch can be programmed to enable full-day automatic heart-rate detection.
The GPS+FLONASS which is integrated with the watch will help for better accuracy for running. Huami has used an ultra-low-power Sony GPS chip fabricated using the 28nm process for this tracking. If the person who is wearing the watch has been sitting for a long time, the watch will vibrate to let them know the same.
The app is mainly used to keep track of sleeping and analyze the sleep data. The wearable is compatible with both Amazfit and Xiaomi‘s Mi Fit apps available on App Store and Play Store.
We received an overwhelming response following the launch of Verge last year. This year, we are excited to announce the launch of Verge Lite an advanced variant to Verge in India on Flipkart – Mark Mao, the Vice President of Overseas Business, Huami
Apart from these specifications what is remarkable about the Amazfit Verge is that its battery is supposed to last for approx 20 days on a single charge. The smartwatch is available in grey and white colors with similar color strap.
