A few news agencies broke the news that the Chinese tech company, Huawei will launch the new Dimensity 700 chip very soon.
The new machine running on the new chip called the Huawei nova 8 comes with a 6.5-inch FHD+ display with a refresh rate of 60Hz. Furthermore, the device comes with an LCD single-punch screen in the upper left corner. The front camera of 16 MP. The rear end of the machines features a quad-camera setup that consists of a 48 MP, an 8 MP, and two 2 MP cameras. The smartphone runs on a 4000mAh battery that supports a 40W fast charge.
On the other hand, this week also witnessed yet another Huawei device, the Huawei CDL-AN50 which passed the Internet access audit of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. It comes with a 6.5-inch display, a built-in 3900mAh battery that supports 40W fast charging. The body size is 162.31×75.0×8.58mm. This new machine could be the new Nova Maimang series models.
The online conference which is aimed at introducing the Huawei nova 8 series will be held shortly, and subsequently, the smartphone might get launched next month.
MediaTek also launched an entry-level 5G SoC Dimensity 700, based on the 7nm process. The CPU features two 2.2GHz Cortex-A76 core and six 2.0GHz A55. The small core and GPU is Mail-G57 MC2, which supports dual-mode 5G, 5G dual-carrier aggregation, 5G UltraSave power-saving solution, 5G VoNR voice, and 5G dual-card dual standby, and the maximum download speed can reach 2.77 Gbps. This is MediaTek’s entry-level 5G chip.
Other smartphone companies such as Realme whose V3 comes equipped with Dimensity 720, have been priced at 999 yuan; Redmi will also launch three Note 9 series products next week. Since more companies are coming up with entry-level 5G products, other companies will also follow suit.
