At the CES 2021, Intel announced that the company was interested in and was working on expanding its Tiger Lake line of processors. Although, Intel did not mention any reason as to why they took the decision, the expansion, or rather new addition to the lines, has been the most welcoming. As of now, the H35 series of processors is the newest member of that line. The H35 series is designed mostly for gaming laptops.

The developers at Intel somehow managed to strike a balance between the chip size and performance for this processor. The new series comes with a TDP of only 35 watts. This will help increase the processors’ performance while not compromising their mobility. The new processors could help in making ultraportable gaming laptops, with displays of 14-15 inches and a body thickness of just over Focus Keyphrase (Max 5) r 1.5 millimeters, while at the same time such gaming laptops could also come with 70 FPS and support 1080p resolution.

However, to become this ultraportable gaming laptop with the above-mentioned features, the laptops need next-generation discrete cards such as the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3000 which is supposed to make its debut on January 13, 2021.

Intel Core i7-11375H Special Edition, Intel Core i7-11370H, and Intel Core i5-11300H come with support 5.0 GHz in overclocking mode. The new processors as when compared to the previous Tiger Lake models are 9 times faster in single-threaded mode.

The multi-threaded mode is 40 percent faster in performance as compared to the single-threaded mode. In addition, all processors will receive 4 buses of PCIe 4.0 format, which will allow connecting discrete video memory and support for Resize BAR technology. The upcoming processors will be able to support Thunderbolt 4 technology and Wi-Fi 6/ 6E.

In the first two quarters of 2021, Intel will launch over 40 laptops that are supposed to run on the new processor.
