A blog post exposed the Kia EV4 sedan’s road test photos. According to reports of IT Home on October 9, the automotive media carscoops published a blog today sharing a set of road test photos of the Kia EV4 electric sedan. The post also included a set of interior images. Estimates suggest that the car will compete head-on with the Model 3 after it officially rolls out on the market.
The EV4 is a compact electric sedan positioned as a smaller and more affordable alternative to the EV6. Industry sources predict that its price, once it hits the market, will likely undercut that of the Tesla Model 3, making it a more budget-friendly option in the electric vehicle space.
Recent images reveal that the EV4’s interior design closely resembles that of the EV3 SUV, especially in terms of its dashboard layout and widescreen digital display. The sleek, floating screen dominates the cockpit, offering a high-tech aesthetic.
Below the screen is a control console equipped with touch-sensitive buttons, providing quick access to essential functions like home, navigation, and media. There’s also a physical knob for adjusting the volume, blending digital convenience with tactile control for a more user-friendly experience. The overall design emphasizes simplicity and modernity, ensuring that the EV4’s cabin feels both futuristic and intuitive.
The EV4 is built on Hyundai Motor Group’s E-GMP platform, the same as the EV3. However, while the EV3 is confirmed to use a 400-volt electrical system, the specifics of the EV4’s system have yet to be revealed.
According to reports, the EV4 will offer two battery options: a 58.3 kWh pack and an 81.4 kWh pack. The standard model will come with a 201-horsepower single electric motor, and a dual-motor all-wheel-drive variant is expected to be released later.
