On October 20, the Chinese tech company, Meizu launched a new pair of a truly wireless headset. The new headset is called Meizu POP2s which happens to be the upgraded version of the previous Meizu POP2.

Meizu marketed the first-gen of the POP2 headphones as providing “sound quality benchmark, faster and more stable.” Now that the company released a successor to the previous moderately popular headphones, the hopes for the new POP2s are certainly higher, both on the company’s end and on the customers’.

Meizu POP2s utilizes and applies the concept of the golden ratio in terms of its design. The company adopted the spiral-shaped earphone design to make it best suitable for the auricle. The snug fit due to the design would ensure stable and comfortable wear. The headset features a white halo design on it which is illuminated through pure white LED light. This LED halo design is similar to that of the bright charging box.

Meizu POP2s adopts a new double-layer structure composite diaphragm design which is geared towards providing a directional sound effect due to the open sound field performance. The new diaphragm design paired with the new audio design enhances the overall performance of the Meizu wireless headsets. The mid-to-high frequency is clear and translucent, and the three-dimensional sense is distinct.

Furthermore, the new-gen Meizu POP2s is the first headphone from the company to support Flyme. All the users need to do is open the charging box and the window will open up which will direct the user to pair and would, ultimately, reduce the pairing process. Additionally, the headset also supports dual-host simultaneous transmission, cVc call noise reduction, and IPX5 waterproof splash function.

The company claims that the headset features a battery that could last up to 6 hours. The Meizu POP2s is priced at 299 yuan in China.
