What is Oculus Quest?
Oculus Quest is a lower-powered self-contained VR headset, but it still has the ability to connect to a PC to play high-end VR games. Oculus website stock has both the 64GB and 128GB models.
Along with restocking the Oculus Quest VR headsets, the company has handpicked four games for its consumers. The Climb, Pistol Whip, Racket Fury, and Thrill of the Fight are those games.
The Climb
The Climb features free solo climbing to explore caves and find shortcuts. The player can play against their friends to compete for the fastest times on leaderboards. The game also comes with a Tourist Mode which will help the players climb with simplified mechanics. This is priced at $29.99.
Pistol Whip
Pistol Whip is an action game that takes the players into action scenes. Some of the features include paired pulse-pounding pace of an FPS with the flow-state energy of a music game in a cinematic symphony of violence, the freedom to choose their own rhythms, infiltrating a fever dream of hand-crafted scenes, from bank heists to Android uprisings, each uniquely designed to music. It features EDM artists from Kannibalen Records, including Apashe, HVDES, and Black Tiger Sex Machine. This is priced at $24.99.
Racket Fury
Racket Fury is a table-tennis VR game featuring a single-player campaign against 16 opponents. It comes in two modes, Arcade and Simulation modes, with 5 different sceneries. Oculus relied upon motion capture data for their animations to deliver the most realistic characters’ movements. This game is priced at $19.99.
The Thrill of the Fight
The Thrill of the Fight is a boxing game that gives an almost realistic boxing match experience. However, some requirements are needed for playing this game like the play area size needs to be 6.5ft by 6.5ft. The game is available for purchase at $9.99.
