OPPO has been secretly working on to roll out a new update for its very own OS, the ColorOS. This news, in fact, has been confirmed by a Weibo user who just happens to be a certified OPPO Software Engineer. The statement was followed by a leaked photo that shows a person working on something called ColorOS. Naturally, it is being speculated that OPPO will roll out version 7 of its ColorOS.
OPPO is supposed to say more about the new operating system during its ColorOS 7 conference which is scheduled to take place on November 2nd, 2019. However, what appears to be the key message in the image indicated by the letter “X” has been blocked by the staff.
According to an official statement issued by ColorOS, the ColorOS 7 Privacy Project will be decrypted at 10 am on November 5, 2019.
Very little information has been made public or is known about ColorOS apart from OPPO’s Vice President, Shen Yiren’s words which assured everyone that the ColorOS 7 is something that everyone should look forward to. The latest OPPO smartphone the OPPO Reno 10x zoom version will be upgraded so that it supports the future, new OS. Oppo Realme phones will also be upgraded to be able to house the Oppo ColorOS 7 in the future.
OPPO released the ColorOS 6 in March 2019. However, the company took some time before announcing the necessary adaptation plan. Similarly, even if the ColorOS 7 sees the light of day in November, the users might have to wait for some time before they can upgrade their phones to match the requirements for the latest OS.
It is also possible that the smartphone manufacturing company may speed up the process of adaptation time catering to the users’ demands. The developers also need to make sure that when the OS is finally out it operates smoothly for the users without having to experience hiccups or some minor problems.
