Poco has launched its latest and the cheapest smartphone to date at an online event that was live-streamed on YouTube on October 6th, 12 p.m. IST. The new smartphone from the company is named Poco C3 and is affordable with the price under INR 10,000 in India.
The smartphone features a 6.53-inches HD+ display with a water-drop-style notch. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the octa-core MediaTek Helio G35 SoC.
The netizens are under the impression that the Poco C3 is a rebadged version of the Redmi 9C which was recently launched in Malaysia. Whatever may be the case, it does not take away anything from the fact that Poco came out with a smartphone price under INR 10,000 but did not compromise with the features. The smartphone also comes with P2i nano-coating.
Poco has highlighted the battery power of the Poco C3. Reportedly, the smartphone comes with a 5,000mAh battery, and Poco has introduced the Better Battery 2.0.
The new battery is supposed to come with a healthier battery. The 5,000mAh battery comes with 25% higher lifespan, and Poco guarantees that it will last for over 3.2 years. The more charging cycles will ensure that the battery provides longevity.
This enhanced battery life will also cater to the gaming aspect of the smartphone. Keeping in mind the insane number of gamers and gaming sessions from India, the Poco C3 is fully equipped to take the challenge head-on.
The HyperEngine Game Technology paired with the 5000mAh 2-Day Battery will provide the gamers with prolonged gaming experience. Furthermore, the smartphone will come in two memory variants, 3GB of RAM with 32GB of internal storage, and 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, and on its back, it will feature a triple camera setup placed inside a square-shaped module.
The 3 GB + 32 GB variant is priced at INR. 7499, and the 4 GB + 64 GB is priced at INR. 8999. The smartphone is likely to go on sale on Flipkart on 16th October.
