The Pokemon Company is teaming up with the streaming service Twitch for a massive Pokemon marathon. The marathon will be off next week on August 27, at 10 AM PT/ 1 PM ET. The Pokemon series is one of the longest-running anime shows on TV, and it is most definitely the most loved one. However, this will not be the first time Twitch will broadcast a marathon, but according to the service, it is the “single longest programmatic viewing event” in its history. The stream will air as a series of smaller marathons over the next several months and into 2019.

This includes 932 episodes from 19 seasons of the Pokemon series and 16 Pokemon movies. The marathon will be broadcasted on the Twitch Presents Channel and 10-16 Pokemon episodes will air Mondays through Thursdays and the encores of these episodes will be broadcasted on Fridays and Saturdays and on every Sunday a different Pokemon movie will be broadcasted.

Twitch has added a new Pokemon Badge Collector Twitch Extension which will help the users to click on a Pokemon and add them to their collection. This Extension will also feature a leaderboard and the rarer a Pokemon is added, the more points the user will get. The Pokemon Company recently announced their latest film, The Power of US, which will be in selected theatres on November 24, 26, and 28 and the final showing of the movie will be on December 1st.
