Mukul Sharma recently tweeted that Samsung will soon launch a new smartphone from its Galaxy A-series. Although the tweet does not explicitly mention exactly which model the company will launch, the very few details shared on Twitter directly point to the Samsung Galaxy A12.
Samsung is scheduled to launch a number of smartphones from its Galaxy A series; however, the latest one about which Samsung dropped a hint could be the Galaxy A12.
The Galaxy A12 features a 6.5-inch HD+ TFT display and runs on an octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 SoC. The major giveaway of the smartphone in the tweets which basically say nothing of the smartphone otherwise is the details of its quad-camera setting.
The Galaxy A12 smartphone features a 48 MP primary sensor with an f/2.0 lens. Besides that, it also has a 5-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle f/2.2 lens, a 2-megapixel macro shooter with f/2.4 aperture, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. At the front, the smartphone features an 8 MP sensor with an f/2.2 aperture.
Moreover, the smartphone packs a 5,000mAh battery that supports fast charging. The smartphone also has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The smartphone comes in three memory variants: 3GB + 32 GB memory variant, a 4GB + 64 GB variant, and a 6GB + 128GB memory variant. The pricing for the 3GB+ 32GB variant is supposed to be somewhere around INR. 15,000, whereas the pricing for the 4GB+64 GB and the 6GB+ 128GB variant could be somewhere around INR. 16,700 and INR. 17,500 respectively.
The smartphone, if it gets launched in India will be available in four color variants: Black, Blue, Red, and White.
Whereas most of the features of the Galaxy A12 matches with that of the mysterious smartphone that is being talked about on Twitter, there also remains a chance that the upcoming smartphone could also be the Galaxy A32 model.
