Last week, we reported that Samsung confirmed June 6th as the official launch date of its flagship smartphone the Galaxy F54 5G in the Indian market. Today, at exactly 3 PM in a new product launch conference in the country, the mobile brand finally unveiled the smartphone at a starting price of ₹29,999.
Prior to today’s launch, the Galaxy F54 5G received multiple leaks ranging from its design to specs and expected pricing. Likewise, in our previous reports, we noted that Samsung is currently accepting Rs. 999 for pre-orders of the device on Flipkart and its website. Now, let’s take a look at the new smartphone.
Samsung Galaxy F54 5G
Being a 5G smartphone, the Galaxy F54 5G will join other Samsung midrange devices in the Indian market. Meanwhile, to distinguish the device from other mid-range phones is powered by the company’s home-brewed Exynos 1380 chipset.
A 6.7-inch Super AMOLED Plus Infinity-O display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass 5 powered the device display sector. Whereas, the smartphone is 8.4mm thick and weighs 199 grams with LPDDR4X UFS 2.2
Galaxy F54 Cameras
Coming to the optical secession, the Samsung Galaxy F54 features a triple camera setup at the back panel which includes a 108-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture. The main camera has support for OIS for stabilized videos and is accompanied by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera with a 2-megapixel sensor. On the front, the device has a 23-megapixel sensor in a single circular cut-out with an f/2.2 aperture for selfies and video calls.
Galaxy F54 Battery and Security
A 6,000mAh battery that can handle 25W fast charging power the device to enhance users’ long time use. Whereas, to enrich the user security experience the smartphone comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor.
On the other hand, the device has a dual-SIM card slot, 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v5.3, GPS, and a USB Type-C connector among other connectivity features. In terms of software, the device is said to feature One UI 5.1 overlay over the Android 13 OS.
Pricing and Availability
As tweeted by tipster Abhishek Yadav, the 8GB+256GB variant of the Galaxy F54 5G is officially selling at ₹29,999, while the lower variant of 6GB goes for ₹27,999. Since Samsung has already accepted pre-orders of Rs 999 on Flipkart and its website in advance, the Galaxy F54 will go on sale via Flipkart today after the event.
However, it should be noted that the device is available in different storage which include 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of internal storage.
