A tech blogger on Twitter has shared images of what is rumored to be the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra 5G smartphone. The smartphone features a Gorilla Glass Victus inside an aluminum frame on its front. The smartphone is likely to be IP68 dust and water-resistant, and it will come with stylus support.
The Galaxy S22 Ultra will feature a 6.8-inches of dynamic AMOLED display that will offer a refresh rate of 120Hz. Moreover, the display will offer 1440 x 3200 pixels and support a 20:9 aspect ratio.
The backside of the smartphone will feature a quad-camera setup. The camera setup consists of a main 108 MP wide-angle lens with an f/1.8 aperture, a 10 MP periscope telephoto shooter with an f/4.9 aperture, a 10MP telephoto lens, and finally a 12MP shooter. The quad cameras are accompanied by an LED flash, and the camera settings support auto-HDR and panorama mode.
The smartphone will run on a massive 5000mAh battery which supports fast charging. What is interesting about this smartphone is that the battery of this smartphone comes with reverse wireless charging of 4.5W.
Since the tech giant Samsung has not officially announced the Galaxy S22 Ultra, there is no way to confirm the details about the rumored features; however, the biggest feature of this smartphone will be the inclusion of the newly introduced Snapdragon 8 Gen1 flagship chipset.
A few sources have mentioned that Samsung is likely to release the smartphone on February 8. If that is the case, Samsung needs to pick up the pace since the Galaxy S22 Ultra would not be the only smartphone to include the new chipset from Snapdragon. At least five smartphones with Snapdragon 8 Gen1 flagship smartphones have already been listed, and if Samsung wants to be one of the first companies to do so, the company needs to announce the smartphone already.
