Earlier in March this year, the tech giant, Samsung launched a whopping eleven televisions along with other smart products as well, such as smart projectors under the code-name QN900A, QN800A, QN90A, QN85A, The Frame, and The Premiere series. Samsung apparently had decided to expand the series of television, and likewise, has added more TVs to the line. On April 6th, the South Korean company decided to add more TV models that will come equipped with micro-LED technology and Neo QLED which are the Samsung mini-LEDs.
There is a high possibility that these TV models will go on sale in Malaysia, following which they will gradually be launched across the globe. A few reports have mentioned that in Malaysia the new models of TVs will go on sale for as low as RM2999 for the 32-series. The pricing will climb up to RM 599,999 for the massive 110-inch LED micro television series. At first, the pricing of the 110-inch sounds ridiculous as a few sources have pointed out it will be more expensive than buying a house.
Samsung has tried to justify the ridiculous pricing by citing, time and again, the latest micro-LED technology which will “redefine the role of television in consumer homes”. The Neo Quantum processor used in the Samsung Neo QLED TVs has also turned heads because it promises that whatever the resolution of the input quality may be, the processor can deliver 4K and 8K videos through the 16 neural network models. The Micro LED 8K 99-inch TV is priced at 519,999 RM. The 110-inch smart TV is at the top of the range; a few of the TVs, such as the Neo QLEDs (55-inch, 65-inch, 75-inch, 85-inch) are somewhat affordable, with the pricing starting at 8499 RM.
The exact date for the launch is yet to be announced.
