Tesla has its charging stations not only across the US but the charging stations exist all over the world. Recently, the company has deployed Powerpack battery energy storage systems to almost 60 such charging stations across the US. The company is likely to deploy more of such battery energy storage systems by the end of this year.

This comes after Tesla made agreements with Electrify America, according to the agreement, Tesla will deploy Powerpack battery energy storage systems to more than 100 charging stations operated by Electrify America.

Tesla’s official Chinese website details that Powerpack is a fully integrated AC-connected energy storage system packed with the necessary equipment to connect to a building or utility network, and could exceed the application range of an independent battery system.

The battery system of Powerpack itself consists of a sophisticated design. Each Powerpack contains 16 independent battery compartments, a temperature control system and hundreds of DC energy storage devices for monitoring and reporting unit-level performance.

Not only that, but it also comes equipped with adaptable advantages. The system can be expanded according to the space, power, and energy needs of any location, from small commercial enterprises to regional utilities. This Powerpack could not only reduce the cost for Electrify America but will also bring down the demand on the grid during peak electricity consumption and reduce electricity bills.

Electrify America is an American electric car charging network giant and is owned by the automobile company Volkswagen. BYTON had announced last year that in collaboration with Electrify America, the company will provide car owners with two years of free charging services in the US.

BYTON is expecting that by the end of 2021, the Byton car owners will be able to use more than 3500 charging stations with a power of more than 150KW from Electrify America’s very own 800 charging stations.
