Back in April this year, the American electric vehicles giant, Tesla rolled out the most wanted features by Tesla owners in the software update version 2022.12.1. This update enables a Tesla owner to customize the icons of the bottom bar to his/her desire.
The customized bottom bar icons included in the 2022.12.1 update are only available on Tesla’s Model 3/Y all generations, Model S/X beginning in 2021. Likewise, the update also provides new controls from the Tesla mobile app, child lock improvements, and an in-car web browser update.
However, after several months without any updates, Tesla owners with MCU1 have finally started getting a new software update again. On its official Twitter page, today, the American electric vehicles giant, Tesla revealed that a new software update 2022.8.10.1 is now rolling out for MCU1 owners.
The update which has been overdue long ago was officially released today and some Tesla MCU1 owners have started receiving and installing the 2022.8.10.1 software update.
According to the EV giant, the new software update is available for Tesla’s Model S, Model 3, Model X, Model Y, Cybertruck, Roadster, and other models. The new software update comes with some fascinating features different from the earlier released updates, as users who have gotten the updates to share their excitement via the Tesla forum.
According to the EV giant, the new update is now available for download from the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store. The software update is of the native TMC iOS and Android apps. Thus, to get the new 2022.8.10.1 software update, Tesla MCU1 owners can now visit the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store to download and start enjoying the new fascinating features therein.
