Tesla’s newly-opened Las Vegas Supercharger V3 station, situated in the centre of the Las Vegas Strip beside the High Roller at The LINQ, is one of Tesla’s most extensive Supercharger V3 sites as of now, with its capacity of accommodating at least 1,500 electric cars on a daily basis.

This corroborates the goal of reducing the city’s carbon emissions by 30% within 2025 as well as the goal of making Las Vegas an electric-vehicle-friendly destination.

Featuring the whole Tesla Energy ecosystem which includes solar panels that accumulate solar energy diurnally and Powerpack batteries that power the site nocturnally, the Las Vegas Supercharger V3 station contains a total of 39 chargers: 24 charging stalls and 15 level-two Tesla Wall Connectors for those cars that are parked for a longer period of time.

Tesla’s Supercharger V3 offers a charging speed of up to 180 miles worth of range in 15 minutes with a maximum power output of 250 kW or 1,000 miles per hour, that too at a consistent level of charging.

The new charging station which can accommodate over a thousand vehicles daily will increase the city’s capacity of accommodating vehicles from over its erstwhile 6,500 Supercharging sessions per month.

Tesla’s Model 3 has far better compatibility with Supercharger V3’s 250 kW peak rates as compared to Model S and Model X, but Tesla’s announcement for the Las Vegas Supercharger V3 station featured a Model X, which may indicate an imminent upgradation for the Model X compatibility with V3 charging.
