After officially launching the new Vivo NEX Dual Display Edition, it seems the Chinese company is holding up “more devices up its sleeve” for 2019. That’s because a new document leak indicates that the manufacturer may have plans to increase the NEX lineup with 5 new phones.
As we know, to date, the company has officialized three NEX line smartphones for the consumer market, being the NEX A, NEX S and recently launched NEX Dual Display. Now Vivo has registered a few more possible models in the intellectual property office of the European Union: NEX V, NEX X, NEX Y, NEX Z, and NEX Play.
According to the source, the Vivo NEX Play could be the first smartphone of the lineup to be a gaming smartphone. Thus, it can compete with the Razer Phone 2, ASUS ROG Phone and others. However, the Chinese company has not yet issued a note confirming or denying the information disclosed. Because of this, we should take everything as just another industry rumor.
The Vivo NEX lineup of the company aims to bring new tech innovation on the smartphone, as seen before: like bringing Motorized Camera, Dual-Screen display, In-Display Fingerprint sensor and etc. Hence the future NEX series smartphones could hold company reputation and feature new tech.
