In a bid to improve business subscriptions via its platform, today, the American instant messaging service, WhatsApp has revealed that it is working on a more featured subscription plan for businesses called WhatsApp Premium on WhatsApp beta for Android, iOS, and Desktop.
According to a WABetaInfo report, the new subscription plan for business accounts spotlighted exciting features that allow users to link up to ten devices to the same WhatsApp account thanks to multi-device.
Aside from linking up to 10 devices at a time, the upcoming WhatsApp Premium is only for business accounts and it is optional. Users can also name up to 10 devices, so business devices can be renamed to remember them easily.
In addition, WhatsApp Premium will allow business accounts to build a unique custom business link: businesses can already use short links to enable customers to contact them by opening a link that includes their phone number, but WhatsApp Premium will allow them to create a personalized link.
This does not imply that the business phone number is hidden: a bespoke business link is just a more convenient way to contact the company by using an easy-to-remember URL. The custom short link will always access a specific company chat, even though it is not a username.
Given the latest development, the instant messaging service has maintained its pinnacle in the tech industry as the famous cross-platform text messaging app that allows users to send and receive messages and make phone calls using only an internet plan. The most widely used messenger on the planet has more than two billion monthly active users.
Consequently, not many details about WhatsApp Premium have been released yet, as it is still under development. However, we promised to update you as soon as the subscription price and release date has been made official. Stay connected with TechGenyz for more updates on the new features.
