Xiaomi has launched its new Mi Max 3, which can be dubbed as a phablet besides it just being a smartphone. It does not have a display notch, ensuring a simpler appearance.
Xiaomi Mi Max 3 sports a tall 6.9-inch FHD+ display supporting 1080 x 2160 pixels. There is a brightness capacity of 520 nits, along with 1,500:1 contrast ratio and 84% NTSC color gamut. The device is fueled by Snapdragon 636 octa-core SoC clocking at 1.8GHz and coupled with Adreno 509 GPU.
Regarding the camera, the handset hosts a vertically aligned dual rear setup with 12 MP and 5 MP sensors and f1.9 aperture for both. The setup is equipped with dual-LED flash and AI portrait mode. The front camera features the 8 MP sensor with f2.0 aperture, 1.12-micron pixels, soft selfie light and face recognition.
The phone is presently up for pre-orders, with shipments starting from July 20 in China. It’s color variants available in Xiaomi’s homeland are Dream Gold, Dark Blue, and Meteorite Black. It measures 176.15 x 87.4 x 7.99mm and weighs 221 grams.
