A new game was briefly given a peek into during the UploadVR E3 2019 presentation when First Contact Entertainment, the studio behind Rom Extraction (2016) and Firewall Zero Hour (2018) showcased a brief video clip teaser for a new multiplayer VR shooter called Solaris Offworld Combat.
The only official detail about the game was given by First Contact game director Damoun Shabs in a showcase video clip, the description of a “fast-paced multiplayer shooter in VR.”
The expected date of release of Solaris Offworld Combat is “soon” and will be available on Quest, Rift (S) and possibly PSVR, too.
Because both Quest and Rift S feature inside-out tracking, First Contact’s upcoming game might make use of either the headsets’ out-of-the-box 360 tracking volume or include standard locomotion methods seen on games in Rift.
More details of the game, a trailer, and some screenshots too, should be releasing sooner than later.
