Xiaomi is having a busy year when it comes to launching new smartphones, especially in its home market of China. The latest offering from the sub-company of Xiaomi is the Redmi K40 series which recently went on sale in China.
In the past years, the Chinese tech giant had waited for some time before launching or introducing another smartphone. As of now, the company is all set to introduce two new models from its range of high-performance smartphones, but this time, in the overseas market.
It should be mentioned here that the two new models are yet to be introduced in the overseas market. They will probably be named something different than their Chinese counterpart.
XDA has found that two Mi 11 series phones, named the Mi 11X and Mi 11X Pro will be launched in the Indian market. The XDA report reveals very little about the upcoming smartphone, but it does reveal that the Mi 11X is codenamed Aliothin. It and bears the model number M2012K11AI.
The recently launched Redmi K40 is code-named Aliothin, which means there is a probable chance that the same smartphone will be launched in India under the brand new name of Xiaomi Mi 11X.
Another thing to be taken into consideration is that another model from the series, the Mi 11X Pro, another flagship smartphone under the Mi 11 series, could be a counterpart to Redmi K40 Pro.
Xiaomi Mi 11X Pro is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 flagship processor. The processor is built on a 5nm process and uses the Cortex X1 super-large core for the first time while also using the Cortex A78 super-core. The benchmarking app Antuu has tagged it as scoring 7000,000 points.
As the Mi 11 series is coming to India soon, it is also believed that the same Redmi K40 series will perhaps be available in Europe under the name POCO F3 Smartphone.
