Ahead of its launch on the new stock exchange, Xiaomi has announced a launch of a new wristwatch. But to surprise us, this is no advanced smartwatch with tons of features like the wonderful Amazfit Series or an advanced fitness tracker like the Xiaomi Mi Band 3. Rather it is an ordinary but elegant quartz wristwatch for the consumers.
This simple “I8” (as the signature name says) quartz watch is stylish and elegant and does not boast any smart features. Though it may not have any hi-tech features, Xiaomi’s I8 quartz watch has a minimalist design and a 6.2-mm slim body with a circular case. The straps add some extra splendor because these are made of steel, and, to be accurate, they have been forged from high-tech Vintage Milanese steel.
This adds a noble feature as it makes the Xiaomi I8 quartz watch tearproof. The watch has got push-pull straps which permit 1-second disassembly and swift replacement. Even each watch will be presented with an extra leather strap.
The watch also boasts of a polished sapphire glass mirror which is scratch-resistant, scratch-proof, and transparent in light perception.
This simple and exquisite watch has a two-needle design and is very much suitable for everyday wear in the city. The magnificent watch can be teamed up with formals as well as with casuals. The Xiaomi 18 quartz watch is available in many colors and is perfect for parties and office wears.
It has a 2.28mm Citizen Citroën quartz movement, supports 50M depth waterproof, prevents daily wash, and is resistant to rain and other splashes. Unlike the smartwatch, the battery of the 18 quartz watch is non-rechargeable, but the battery can last for up to 5 years.
Apart from this, it comes with a stylish 41mm (diameter) case, which weighs 60g for the men, while the female variant uses a 36mm case weighing 50g.
The Xiaomi 18 quartz watch has been launched in China with a price tag of 399 Yuan or about $63.
