Xiaomi is one such company that is known for more than just being an affordable smartphone manufacturer. The Chinese brand is also known for other smart home devices, and not to mention its affordable yet outstanding line of smart TVs.
Recently, Xiaomi had started its venture to enter the ultrahigh-end market, despite having an absolute spell over the affordable market. On September 23, Xiaomi TV’s official Weibo and Xiaomi founder Lei Jun’s Weibo released a new preview for its upcoming high-end smart TV, after months of speculation and rumors.
The new Mi TV Master Extreme Edition will be released on September 28. The new smart Mi TV is defined as “a collection of cross-age black technology, coming for the next 5 years.” The posters reveal only meager details about the TV.
The poster specifies that the Mi TV Master Extreme Edition will be an 8K+5G TV; however, the specific details and its configuration have not yet been revealed. A Twitter user under the Twitter handle name of Digital Chat Station revealed that the new smart TV will come with an 82-inch 8K high-brush display, and will support 5G.
This will certainly be a first for Xiaomi. The previous Mi TV Master featured a 65-inch OLED display screen and had the screen-to-body ratio as high as 98.8%. Since the last TV came with a 120Hz MEMC dynamic compensation and AI master image quality engine, AI deep learning algorithm, AI dynamic scene recognition, and 1 ms instant response, it is likely that the new TV will retain most of these features, and will add a few more, especially because the new TV promises to be ultra high-end.
There is no definitive answer as to the price range for such a smart TV. Moreover, there is no other valid or official information available regarding the details about the specs.
